The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at theUniversity of Houston invites applications for a Lecturer positionin the newly created Construction Engineering undergraduate degreeat the University of Houston at Katy. UH at Katy is a satellitecampus located in Katy, Texas, 30 miles to the west of the centralcampus. All administration, advising, and instruction for theconstruction engineering program will occur at the Katycampus.The primary responsibility will be teaching. However, in the firsttwo years the teaching load will be offset by administrativeresponsibilities that will make the program operational, including;developing processes for attaining accreditation; advisingstudents; participating in the recruitment of additionalinstructors; and being a spokesperson for the program.
